It remains a mystery why Apple decided to offer Street View on the iPhone and the iPod Touch. They run the same OS and the iPod Touch has an even faster processor. What leads many people to the conclusion that it was a marketing decision. The question is, why? I think this is unprecedented that something is available on the iPhone and not the Touch, besides of course apps that have hardware restrictions such as a built in mic.
